I mod C&C Yuri Revenge and throughout our community we have a large number of advance modders and even code writers who are .exe makers for the game and are writing their own game engine itself which are solely done free and for the enjoyment of the community..

I rarely knock capitalism..but for fans of the game to charge other fans for playing the game is insincere in my view..Like I said I will most likely buy the unlock..just wanted to state my view

in Version 1.40, I receive "generating errors will now close" when hitting the GLidosID button (under win2000)...other then that everything is running perfect

First let me say, I will most likely purchase this unlock (by way of opinion place surveys which gives 3 dollars per survey to a paypal account) yes I'm frugal to a degree..

but in all honesty, I mod C&C Yuri Revenge and throughout our community we have a large number of advance modders and even code writers who are .exe makers for the game (adding in stuff that EA/Westwood declined) and are writing their own game engine itself which are solely done free and for the enjoyment of the community..

Yes, its everyone's choice on a project by project basis. I do some open source work, but I don't see why I shouldn't get something back for some of my projects.

Insincere? Being one thing, and pretending to be another? Two faced? I don't understand what you mean.

by the way, in Version 1.40, I receive "generating errors will now close" when hitting the GLidosID button (I'm running under win2000)...will this hamper me in anyway once I purchase this product to remove the logo?...other then that everything is running perfect

Yes, that will mess up the unlock process. There was a Windows 2000 specific problem (code I put in for Vista didn't work on W2K). I thought I'd fixed that, but maybe I released the fix only as a download on this forum. I'll see if I can find it.

Try here. The version of Glidos attached to the last post should be W2K safe.

Thank you for such a quick response and fix...I'm not trying to belittle your work

my two cents.
