I'm trying to get Headline Harry to work on my computer. I've been using DOSbox for a while now, so I did what I know how to do....mounted the folder I have my games on, and usually whichever game I choose works from there. I download games from free_game_downloads.mosw.com and have never had an issue before. I read what it says on DOSbox for Headline Harry...to make sure you install the game...but since I downloaded it, I really can't install the game...I have no disk....and even if I did I have no floppy drive...haha 😒 I tried loadfix but it didn't work...and I didn't think it would seeing as the issue is basically I need to in a sense install the game on my hard drive. All that happens when I run the game is DOSbox closes...and I can't even read the error if there is one because it closes that fast. Is there something I am supposed to do that I am not doing? I'm running Windows Vista and DOSbox .72.....All my other games run fine. It's just this one. When I unzip the files, the entire files don't come along...because in WinRAR the files are there, and when I extract them it seems I only get partial files....this is the only game it's happened on....help! 😳

There is no need to bold every word in your post.

OK well I wanted to...it's easier for me to see. Sorry...next time I won't do that....but that still doesn't help me figure out how to run my game

I'm just extremely frustrated...When I try to install it just asks for the disk...when I try to run the game DosBOX closes...I can run setup but that just does nothing....is there something else I can do? It's a batch file

That is the problem when you work with games from unknown sources. It is mostly like a problem with the way the game was copied, and not a problem with DOSBox.

I was afraid of that but I downloaded it from another site just to make sure and it does the same thing. I'd use the real program but it is pretty old and I would need a floppy drive which I don't have.

It works just fine. You MUST INSTALL it first, though.

That was my issue....it wasn't installing...but I finally found a copy that would. Thanks anyways.
