Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the game Land of Lords I and DOSBox 0.72. I would start the game, but I get an strange error message.

C:\LOLCD\DATA\ENG>lands
EMS = 0 XMS=64945120
Plese run LANDS.EXE` from your hard drive.

Here is a part of my dsbox.conf:

[dos]
# xms -- Enable XMS support.
# ems -- Enable EMS support.
# umb -- Enable UMB support.
# keyboardlayout -- Language code of the keyboard layout (or none).

xms=true
ems=true
umb=true
keyboardlayout=none

As you see, the xms and ems support are both activated. And this Folder (C: ) is one of my hardrives. After this I have tried to turn ems off. But the same error occurs... I dont really know what goes wrong here 😒

When I see a path like C:\LOLCD\DATA\ENG, I wonder - Did you install that game or what?

To me it looks like the game thinks you are running it from the CD, not from the hard-drive.

The game is installed. The problem is if I want to start the game with the "LOLCD.EXE" (this is the actual start file, in the root folder) the game want the game disc in drive B: But I have no B drive 😠

edit: I have try to mount the image with D-Fend v2 into drive B: But nothing happens, the EMS is to low.

The game is installed.

How? Be sure you install it WITHIN dosbox, using a fixed mounting
for the c-drive and the d-drive (cdrom).
