I've been using DOSBox 0.72 on my Mac Pro to run some old DOS games with much success. I've also been trying to get it to run some old DOS programs that process major league baseball data, but every time I try to run one of them I get the message "This program cannot be run in DOS mode." They are not Windows programs, they're strictly DOS programs that have been around since the early '90s. Does anyone have any idea on how to get them to work?

The DOS programs can be found here. They're called bevent.exe, bgame.exe, and box.exe.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look like windows programs to me. Just because they worked in a Windows Command Prompt does not mean that they are DOS programs.

If you look inside the file you can see that it is a windows file. PE header. References to windows .dll's. I don't see an signs of an extender so I don't think it's a hybrid.

I also just ran the file on my 64bit machine (which can't run DOS programs without DOSBox) and it runs fine.....
