I am at my wits end....

I have an inspiron 1420 intel centrino duo...(whatever that is?) and It is running VISTA....

I want to play the NBA Jam TE that I just purchased on E-Bay...(yes I have the original CD)....

The Problem: I did some research and relised I needed DosBox to run the game....so I downloaded it, installed the game and it worked!!!....or so I thought....

After hitting enter at the title screen and entering my name and birthdate and selecting my team everything was fine....the tonights match-up screen appears fine and then continues to a "Loading game" screen....

this is the problem....that is as far as it goes!!!...it freezes i guess and stays on that screen never getting to the actual playing of the game...

What I have Tried: More research had me download and swap the Dos4gw.exe with Dos32a.exe....I did this and the same problem remains...

I have looked at all info on this forum and none of it has helped...I am no wizz on a computer and have read info on changing the config file in DosBox in regards to the resolution of the screen thinking this may help...

Now I can't do that because of something about not being the administrator or such....

PLEASE HELP....I have sat on my damn computer for days looking for solutions....

Look like it should work (at least with 0.70):

Since you have managed to get the game to install and now needs to experiment with the configuration, get one of the many DOSBox frontends. They will ease the process and hopefully work around the admin issue.

My first change would be to change the core settings from dynamic to normal.
