I have just found my old copy of Little Big Adventure and would love to play it again. I have downloaded DOSBox, but as a bit of a technophobe I am not really sure what I have to do now. I am running Vista. I have inserted the disc but I don't actually know how to install the game, as obviously it is a DOS game so there is no autorun. If someone could give me really basic (dummies guide!) instructions as to how to install the game, and run it using DOSBox then I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Millie

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Wow, that is brilliant, thanks. That magicball thing was really helpful - I have got it working as in it opened and I got the menu and selected new game, but now it seems to be stuck saying Speech Files Transfer, which I have no idea what means! This may have something to do with the fact that it said
' Now, outside of DOSBox, copy the folder "VOX" from the LBA1 cd to the folder which you installed LBA1 in. If you don't want to copy all VOX files, just copy the VOX files in your language from the CD VOX folder to the LBA1 installation VOX folder (for English it's all files starting with "EN_").' which I just missed out as I didn't know what it meant, so help with that would be good!

Also, is there any way of maximising the window, as it is very small. Thank you so much both of you for your help.

Yes, you are trying to play an unlicensed copy of the game. Buy the game, then come back and ask for help.

Well, go ask for help at that LBAhq thing.
