I downloaded the Summoning from The Underdogs yesterday. I then downloaded the binary they offer to crack the copyright protection. I also installed the patch to upgrade to v 1.2.

The game when I start it works just fine fine when I start it. Before I started it I ran setup to configure sound to SoundBlaster. The graphics and everything else run smoothly. I played for a bit and then saved it. The problem occurred when I returned to the game.

Whenever I load a game, there's no music. There's still sound effects, but absolutely no music. I already verified that the problem is not linked to the patch I installed. I tried switching soundcards in setup.exe, and they all act the same.

Basically, the only time there's in-game music is for a freshly created character. I searched the forums and no one's reported this problem for the summoning before. Does anyone have any suggestions?
