hello!

i`m new, and this is my first post, so please don`t think i`m a idiot 😉

i downloaded the vdm sound and now i have sound in the games (dosbox0.72) but at populous i have only the ahhs or uuhs if some of my people die or something but no music... is this normal?

and how can i get a higher resolution?? so the game is not so "pixelig".
(i testet this with go.bat/ss or. pop2.exe/ss but nothing changed)..

But you are. VDM Sound and DOSBox are 2 different solutions to the same problem and have very little to do with each other. You run your game EITHER with VDM Sound OR with DOSBox. DOSBox do not use VDM Sound, and VDM Sound does not use DOSBox.

i tested it with vdm sound but it played no sound and so i played with the conf. of dosbox and i started it with dosbox or with the dosboxlauncher(with the standard-settings of the program)

Did you configure the music?
For un-blocky display try for example the hq2x scaler.

thx for the help. in the game there is no option to activate the music? i don`t find a option

I don't know the game, so check the manuals of the game for information.
