Is possible to use both a Sound Blaster 16 non PnP and a Sound Blaster 1.0 in the same systym using different multiboot config's?
I would like to have a SB16 so I can use a wavetable and my old Sound blaster's so I have a card with CMS chips
Its very possible. In order to avoid conflicts, you should set the 1.0 to I/O 220 and the 16 to I/O 240 using the jumpers on the cards. Using different IRQs and DMAs may be a good idea, but it isn't absolutely necessary. You should also disable one of the joystick ports. Set your multi autoexec.bats accordingly.

This will be a killer system if it all plays happily together, SB16+DB50XG, GUS, SB1.0, Lapc-I, Tseng W32p VLB, AMD 5x86

The nice thing about this system in the Phoenix bios which let's me set the non turbo mode speed in 16 steps....more info will come later
