I have Full Throttle and I installed VDMS as well as the two update packs and the launchpad. I rightclicked on THROTTLE.EXE and I got two "Run with VDMS" options, one with a note infront of it, and one not. I tried them both and neither of them worked, I still get no sound.
That's not a lot of information, and not very detailed. Did you run Full Throttle's sound setup program and set it to use Sound Blaster audio? If you set it to anything above that (e.g. SB 2.0, SB Pro, or SB16), you might get choppy sound.
I am having the same problem.. I am running Windows XP and have installed Full THrottle. I get the game to run but have no sound. I then dled the VDMSound and when i right click on the exe file and select run with VDMS it runs but still no sound. This is all pretty much greek to me but I am trying to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. What are the two update packs and the launchpad ?? And if I need them where would I get them from? Someone please help! 😖 I am using a Gateway Laptop, not sure if that matters or not.. Thanks.
