Hello, I was searching around for some of the old DOS games I used to play when I was a kid and stumbled onto my all-time favorite: insanity. In order for the game to run smoothly, I have to run it under DOSBox (I'm using DOSBox 0.72 right now). The graphics/framerate/etc. all work good now, except the sound is what irks me. This game uses the PC-speaker for its sound, but when DOSBox emulates the sound, it loses that metallic-synth like sound to it. I tried messing with the PCspeaker rate in the config file, but it doesn't do any good.
You can run the game with DOSBox and without and see for yourself. (It's shareware by the way):
