Alien Logic freezing on main screen

I've been able to install the game successfully and run it, yet it always freezes when it gets to "Skyrealms of Jorune: Alien Logic" screen. I've tried both without the patch (the game simply locks) and with the 1.02 update (it freezes but gives a strange error message: "64 kb freed. Illegal command: salroughe".

Pc specs below.

My computer:

Phoneix Award BIOS v6.00GP
Pentium IV 3 Ghz
1 GB Ram
Windows XP with Service Pack 3
Nvidia Geforce 6200SE Turbocache 256.0 MB
Directx 9.0c (version 4.09.0000.0904)

Just a guess - Try the LOADFIX command before running the game.

Tried a different CPU emulation? Give the command core normal before running game.

Solved, thank you anyway.

Some guy on another forum suggested to run it with the /x parameter and it worked.

My computer:

Phoneix Award BIOS v6.00GP
