I don't know what the hell is happening. I have noticed that when I put my headphones on, I hear A RADIO with people talking (in the background with very low volume). I don't have radio or radio tuner on my PC. WTF?

Your headphone cable inadvertently catches radio waves. It happens sometimes, especially when the cable is thin.

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

This happens quite often with unshielded amplifiers.
Once I built a ghetto amplifier out of an AT PSU and a car amp salvaged from the dump. It was impossible to enjoy laid-back music with this thing, because in the background there was always someone blathering along in languages I could not identify. It caught AM radio stations at random, sometimes several at once.

Yes the cable is quite thin. I guess I will have to live with it.

Thank you for your replies. 😎
