Hi all,

I am using XP and DosBox to run win3.1.

Using win3.1 explorer I can see the files in my DosBox-mounted drive as expected but if I Alt-Tab back to XP and copy a file from a networked PC into the mounted drive, then Alt-Tab back to win3.1 I cannot see the new file.

I tried closing win3.1 and restarting but the file is still not visible.

Not only do I have to close win3.1 but I also have to close DosBox and start it all up again so the new file is included. It seems as though DosBox takes a snapshot of the files when mounting the drive at start up.

So here's the queston: Is there anyway to refresh DosBox after I have used XP and the network to add a new file to the DosBox-mounted drive?

I hope you can follow that.

Thanks.

Dave

Thanks but I meant for DosBox to automatically do it when a file is added to a folder.

I thought there might be a switch for it. XP constantly monitors folder activity and updates as required and I was kinda hoping DosBox might be able to do the same.

The Ctrl+F4 will be a help, thanks again, I will try it tomorrow

Thanks for that. I will give it a try.
