hi all.
Our company is working with very old dos based software, but in the future we gonna use thin clients and remote desktop.and rdp protokol does not support full screen dos.so we deside to use dosbox.But here is the problem - the software is locked by usb eutron smartkey. so, how can i configure dosbox to recognize the key or is it possible to do this at all. thanx

That it uses USB, I take it this is a windows 3.x program, if not, an odd DOS one. DOSBox doesn't handle USB, so your best bet is to use Qemu, Bochs, or VirtualBox, which do. Any of these can run DOS/Win 3.x and have USB emulation. If you really have a thing for DOSBox, you'd have to write your own or port USB handling from one of the projects I mentioned, or figure some alternate non USB way of getting your program to see the USB key.

USB? How is the key accessed? Through some specialized USB driver, or do the SmartKey driver emulate a serial or parallel port?

I must install driver for the smartkey.and i don't know how to make dosbox to detect them.

I don't think anyone here knows that product or how one might access it from DOSBox. Have you tried asking the company that makes the protected software?
