Supaplex saving problems

Hello everyone!
I have a problem wit the game "supaplex".

I typed this in my config file of dosbox under the [autoexec]:

mount C C:\oldgames\
c:

I start dosbox, type cd supaplex [enter] , type then supaplex [enter]
and the game starts.

I can play the game excelently! but when i close the game and dosbox and open it again (with dosbox) then my username and all the levels i completed are gone! 🙁

does anybody know how dosbox or supaplex CAN save my game?

PS: sorry for being such a dosbox newbie.

Highlight all of the game files in Windows. Right-click on the highlighted files. Verify that Read-Only is unchecled.

If you are using Vista or a non-administrator account with an earlier version of Windows then verify that you are either running DOSBox as an administrator or that you have write permissions to the game directory.

thanks for your reply but the problem is there still..

I have vista indeed, all the gamefiles are non-read only.

By administrator running you mean: rightclick dosbox --> run as administrator right? that still doesnt work for me 🙁

I hope you have an other solution and otherwise thanks for your help

OOh i got it already! one file said it was "hidden"
so i unchecked it and it is fine now thanks! I couldn't do it without your help! 😁
