Newbie - Prince of Persia 2 can not load

I have looked at both the wiki and the faq for some answers but I can't seem to get this to work.

Question about Prince of Persia 2

It took me a while to figure out how to mount the game and get it to load the disks off a mounted a:\. I was really pumped when the game loaded. I am a little disappointed however because I couldn't get the voices to work. Is there something I have to do to get this going?

I remember that the opening scene had voice acting. There was also a sound effect when you stabbed the baddies when they fell off the roof they would go, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" SPLAT! now there isn't any sound.

Post your system specs, dosbox version, how you mount the drives,
how you installed the game, how you start it.

Sound in pop2 works just fine.

Windows Vista 64 Bit
6 gigs of ram
AMD X4 9850
9800 GeForceGT

DOSbox

Version 0.72

Mounting & play

Mount C C:\Classics then I go to the Prince directory and run the exe.

🤣 I did not have the sound set up correctly! I changed the settings and it works perfect.

Changed settings to Sound Blaster Pro. I had the Spectrum Pro Audio years ago and was just used to using it.
