Hi
I try t install Phantasmagoria in my laptop (vista 64 bit) by dosbox.
I created a mount f:\ to have access to my cdrom.
I did install.
Once I was in the setup menu, I followed did instructions till it asking me to choose a drive to install to from the drive shown below.
I wasn't able to highlight anything - it was blank - nothing that I could select.
So, i just press entrer and enter again to accept the sound and audio settings and
unable to create directory ö:\sierra\scarydos

So I need help please...

Have to be "c:/sierra/scarydos"
Just mount a folder of your hard disk as C drive and it installs fine from inside DOSBox.

Ok
I just created the file "c:/sierra/scarydos" by windows on my drive c:
I went on dosbox try again and now want I press enter to continu I got he same erreur: "ö:\sierra\scarydos" but the "ö" changed by a white "█"..

Ok.. So.. I finally get it. The game works well. But just one more thing.
The resolution of the game is really poor. I mean, I remember that was better then that.
SO, is it a configuration i need to do with dosbox or this is with the game? Cauz I try to find the setup of the game and I found nothing.

Not by windows!
By DOSBox, please. 😉

Do you created a folder "C/Oldgames" by windows, and mounted this folder as drive C: inside DOSBox?
the line

mount c c:/sierra/scarydos

or the line

mount c c/oldgames

includes a drive C: in DOSBox, where the game can be installed from within DOSBox.

Your c:/sierra/scarydos looks like a game directory, created by the installer of the game.

I can't help with the graphics problem, except to try to play with scaler variables.
