Jetboat racing
I have the 2 ghz computer set up and it has a good video card on it. The odd thing is while I have direct x 8.1 or some version of direct x 9 on it but while I'm not certain it's higher than direct x 7 but the game claims I have direct x 3 and refuses to install and the first error is this program is for windows 95/98 only. Anyone know how to get it going on this windows xp computer. Why it claims I have direct x 3 of all versions is beyond me.
Is it safe to install direct x 7. I have a demo disc that has direct x 7 on it and I'm wondering if it will damage the computer installing an earlier version over a later version. Is their a way to trick the game into thinking I have windows 95 or 98? I can't do compatibility mode cause it complains right when you first get to the install screen. I remember this game being fun but very buggy and a little unstable even when played on windowss 95.
