Hello there,

I really hope you could help me out with some keyboard issue.

I'm using DOSBox on my MacBook (OS X 10.5.6) and I'm unable to use the keys F1 to F12 within the DOSBox window.
That causes problems with several games, for example Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and Death Rally Quicksaving.
It sucks alot because I can't save fricking Monkey Island -.-

Is there a way to get the keys working or to save with another key combination?

For additional information: I'm playing the games from the "Classic games formatted for Mac"-zip, so I'm not diretly mounting them but simply doubleklick them to start.

I really hope you can help me out with that.
Thanks alot

I have you tried going into the OSX Keyboard Prefs and switching the F keys mode. Otherwise, you can use the Fn key modifier, if you prefer the Apples current default.

Fn + F5 for example.

So, finally I can save, whee! Thanks again!

I'm also on a Mac, but I don't know what that means. Looks like abandonware download, so i don't want to know that (plus obviously don't want to support such Macintosh DOSBox.app packages in Frontend. They sounds very illegally within itself).

Let's talk about DOSBox.app package freeware games, but...
