hi
Lands of Lore 1(both English version and Chinese version) works fine in 0.72,but not working in 0.73

if there is no game save,0.73 will play intro,but after choose player,English version will freeze at black dosbox screen,Chinese version will shutdown dosbox automaticlly.
if there is game save,English version will stay black dosbox screen after type "lands",and Chinese version will shutdown dosbox after a while.

I tried both version in 0.72 both working.
does anyone knows what's wrong?

Did you try to reinstall in 0.73?

I just tried reinstall 0.73 to a new clear directory and run the game,same problem.

btw: my system is Win 7,but other computer is XP,same problem.

I don't have game install disk.both version downloaded from internet and no need install,zipped installed directory.
I've tried delete all save or re-setup the setting,but not solved the problem.

Lands of Lore v E1.23 (floppies) works perfectly fine for me under DOSBox 0.73

This game has problems with unpatched versions on fast machines. Maybe you need to use a different core to make it work.

after I changed cputype from auto to 386,this game works again

Lands of Lore has a bug that I described in a different post.

You should install the patch because that's not the only bug in the game...
