I have followed ALL of the steps step by step to install and run the free version without a CD and when I type in "dagger", it say (c)19something blah, blah, blah, starting game. . . . Then it stops responding. i have included the instuctions. Open it in firefox.
Have you tried to run any other game with DOSBox?

Yes, I have and I had no problems with that one. I just mounted the install file, then mounted the game itself and it has worked with no problem. For this one, I followed the instructions(after finally finding them online), did what it said and... nope! doesn't work. 🙁
Did you use the proper label when mounting the cd-rom? It is neccesary. If I recall correctly it's Daggerfall.
