Typing problems in the main post page...

The post window where I'm currently typing in the main posting page, scrolls up whenever the message reached the bottom of the box.

I can't see what I'm typing after a single box because the box keeps scrolling back, up. So for long messages, I just paste from notepad.

I'm using xp in my dell laptop now to type this. Even my vista desktop system faces the same problem. The problem only arises once I exceed this single box limit.

So, am I doing something wrong here, like any wrong setups or something?

I get this problem too, and I also use notepad to write messages. I first noticed this problem when I upgraded IE7 to IE8.

It could be handy to know which browser are you using.

Ah yes, I've forgotten. Now that retro games 100 mentioned it, I'm using IE8 too. (In my laptop.)

And I've found the solution : I have to enable the compatibility view to make this problem go away in IE8!

So, uh, el_PuSHer, any prospects of recoding the posting segment for IE8?

I don't see what makes people keep using IE. There are a plethora of good, real browsers out there: Firefox, Opera, Chrome to name a few.

I can think of a few reasons:
- it comes preinstalled with Windows
- some companies don't let you use alternative browsers at work

Ironic that you have to enable compatibility view since that supposedly makes it less standards-compliant.
