I recently acquisitioned a legitimate copy of Super Street Fighter II Turbo DOS from Amazon. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit edition. I run DOSBox, I mount my disc drive (d:\) and type in D:\INSTALL. After this, the install screen for Super Street Fighter II Turbo Appears. I highlight Install Game and it gives me an error message that says "DRIVE ERROR: ILLEGAL TARGET DRIVE !"

The directory it tries to install to is C:\GAMETEK\SSF2T My C: drive is in fact my valid hard disc, but it keeps giving me this error. I even created a directory in my C: drive that has the folder and sub folder: GAMETEK and SSF2T. It still won't work no matter what. I really don't feel like busting out my old dell (whiich runs Windows XP) just to try and use the command prompt to try and run this game. Is there anyway to get it running in Vista under these conditions or did I just waste $5 acquiring this game?

I was able to figure it out after tinkering around. I was confused by the idea of mounting an HDD (I am familiar with mounting an ISO, but never knew the same could be done for an HDD). Thank you for the swift response though. I appreciate it.

If you need something more lengthy you could try all the threads on the
guides forum, the readme etc.
