I've read 2-3 tutorials and I have made progress. However, I can't get DOSBox to open the directory that my game is on.

On WindowsXP the game directory is in C:\dosbox\pz (Panzer General). I can mount the C: (DOSBox), but when I try to "cd pz" it says that the directory is invalid. The "pz" folder is directly inside of the "dosbox" folder.

Any suggestions?

You should be mounting c:\dosbox, not c:\dosbox\pz. "cd pz" would then work. On a real DOS machine you would never install games to your root directory!
