Is this possible - connecting the LAPC-I to the MPU-IPC-T, to connect to the SC-55? This, instead of the MCB-1?

(One of my previous Pentium boards won't boot up anymore after I accidently connected a Joystick-MIDI cable (HOSA) to the LAPC-I. No sound. No burning smell. Luckily the LAPC-I and other parts survived.)

Yes, it is possible. However, the MPU-IPC-T uses a 25-pin connector, the MCB-1 a 15-pin connector, so you will need to deal with that. The MPU-IPC-T manual has the pinout info you would need.

Thanks! I'll try to do something about the connection.
