So i have Goblins quest 3, and im trying to install it/play it using dosbox on Vista and ive run into an issue.

I have the cd version, so i open up Dosbox, mount the CD drive as E using

mount E E:\ -type CD-ROM

Then i change to E, then try to run the install

It starts to work then it pops up with what looks like a good ol dos instalation screen, but says, "This application requires a CD rom. In case of Difficulty, refer to the manual"

I am running it FROM the CD though.... I even tried copying the entire disc to a folder on my C drive then mounted that folder, and it still didn't work...

If anyone can help me, they are my hero.

Thanks!

Type "mount d e:\ -t cdrom"

You can also run the CD from the hard drive, by converting it to ISO/BIN+CUE/IMG. Then you type the following:

"imgmount d "path to the image file" -t cdrom"
