Just wondering, is there any plan to support being able to mount multiple floppies in a swappable fashion? DOSBox 0.74 imgmount says that this is only supported for CD-ROM images and not floppy ones.

In the meantime....
(unfortunately the VFD site is down (thanks to infostink.jp), I prefer that over ImDisk as it doesn't treat every file type ever as some image file to mount with ImDisk Virtual Drive(tm) in every shell popup possible)
VFD doesn't work in Windows 7 (x64 in my case, but that's not the problem apparently). ImDisk does though so I guess that will have to do.

I didn't know about ImDisk, but I got VFD to work in both versions of Win 7, see here:

There's still this patch:

1+1=10

Good to know, although I'm too lazy to want to employ workarounds that involve disabling UAC or enabling test mode (to allow unsigned drivers), mostly because both options involve rebooting. ImDisk works without any of that, although you have to run some obscure commands in a command prompt window to get its driver going.

Cool, thanks. I've got DOSBox 0.74 building in Visual Studio 2010 Express, so I might try patching that in if I have need of the feature again. I wonder why the patch was never accepted in some form?
Because it's buggy.
