I am looking for a simple joystick that will cover most of the buttons for Motoracer and Motoracer 2. I remember a long time ago I had a small Kraft joystick - and I see a couple for sale on eBay - but I'd like some other options. I used "Kraft Joystick" to look it up. Unfortunately, if I just search for "joystick", way too much comes up. Can you help me narrow the search?

It needs to be an analog joystick, 15-pin gameport compatible, and not as big as a Flightstick. 2 axis or 3 axis preferred. A gamepad will not work because I need it to handle variations on the axis, not hard left/right.

In fact, if they made a tiny palm sized steering wheel joystick, that would be perfect.

Recommendations?

motoracer is a windows game so why does it need to be gameport compatible ?

ps: if you want a plam size wheel (sort of)

Because that is what my legacy PC has. And other DOS games need a gameport.

yeah, USB pads/sticks won't work in DOS-only mode...

Well for the original question the usb pci card solution would work fine (if you are using an usb capable Windows version) 😉

15 pin DOS stick?

Well I'm a MASSIVE fan of the Gravis joysticks. I had quite a few models from them. Highly recommended for any type of game.

Yes they look somewhat like a flight stick, but no nearly as massive or bulky as the MS Sidewinders.
