First of all, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for DOSBox! No longer must I undertake compiling old parts and attempting to build another computer only dedicated for DOS games. Already I am playing XCom, Panzer General, Aces Collection, Hind, Day of Tentacle, and so on...!

Recently I rediscovered Spectrum Holobyte's MiG29 in my collection box. Like many games of years past, I bought so many, only to play them very minimally. How refreshing to have a game with a beautiful manual along with separate quick guide and fold out maps!

Anywho, nostalgia aside, here is the question at hand:
MiG29 comes in 3 floppy disks. Will DOSbox recognize the a: dirve or will I have to do something in DOSBox? I suppose I can just copy the disks onto a CDROM, but is this as easy as it sounds?

Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, you can use a real floppy but you may run into some problems with some copy-protected games that rely on low-level disk access. Other than that, it should work perfectly almost all the time.

You need to mount it as floppy.
