My first exposure to eVGA wasn't until the GeForce4 era. Prior to that I would have had no knowledge of them, so most likely not. 😀

eVGA was founded in 1999, so it is kinda new to the IT business. It's also worth to mention, that the companies usually do not sell their branded products worldwide initially. So if you aren't a collector a lot of people simply couldn't buy early products.

OT: This reminds me of certain current games where you could win f.e. a high end 3D graphics card if you participate in the world wide beta test. Though the footnote in most cases says that this applies only to U.S. / Canada residents. Such limitations always show nicely that 'world wide' is still weighted between different locations.

Dunno, but I'm not gonna go through 150+ graphics cards for a contest that's already over 🤣

🤣, Just remembering this thread as I had won an auction on ebay. Seller listed 2 S3 AGP cards (amongst the lot of things). As things got here today and looking through it all it appears I am now the owner of a EVGA E-Savage 4 32MB AGP card, If I had only the card back then I coulda been a contenderrrrr 😉
