Been trying to get my Xbox 360 wireless controller to work right in DOSBox, and I've recently overcome the D-pad problem (setting the controller type to fcs). And then I have another problem!

The "Y' and "B" buttons do absolutely nothing no matter what I do. I've even used Xpadder, Pinnacle, and Joy To Key, but it just doesn't seem to work for anything. There's nothing wrong with the controller (which is a surprise) or the wireless receiver (another surprise).

Does anybody have any knowledge they're wishing to share with me? I've given up all hope on getting this to work by myself and this is the last bastion for getting this to work before I toss out the receiver and controller while cursing Microsoft eternally.

Most DOS games support only 2 buttons, that said, have you enabled button wrapping in the .conf file?
If you've used joytokey, I'd say there's something wrong with your controller, if you're using joytokey and turned off joystick in dosbox, whatever you set y and b to do should work. It could have something to do with setting it as FCS...if you want to use the pad, TraxxAmiga did a patch for xbox controllers, if you don't want to build DosBox yourself, I do a build with said patch compiled.
