I installed this program about two weeks ago, with the D-Fend Reloader too, which makes easier to open a game, and now I have discovered the keyboard doesn't works.
And then I can't save any game, because I need to write a name.
It seems that for the DosBox it doesn't exists.
I suppose it's something about the configuration.
But I don't understand that file, the "DOSBox 0.74 Options", I haven't found anything with the google searchs and I don't know what to do for solving the problem. 🙁
Please. ¿Can you help me? You are my only hope, as the Princess Leia said 😀

I don't recall many games that are entirely mouse driven, maybe Manhunter (you do need to type a save name 😜), probably Mother Goose, Lemmings too, but I seem to recall that one used passwords to "save" your progress...so...how do you get to the point where you want to save without using a keyboard?
If you want to try something that could work...or not...you're gonna have to edit that evil, evil config file.
Since no game is stated and so and such...
First and foremost I'd start with that mysterious readme file so I can do all the stuff I list below; after RTFMing, I'd try to run just DosBox, see if my keyboard doesn't work there either; finally I'd try and change usescancodes from true to false and load my shiny .conf file, see if my keyboard works...but, you know, that's just me.

Warcraft 2 is almost entirely mouse-driven if I recall, and it might even provide a default save name. 🤣

True, though I do use the hotkeys (Attack move vs move, for example).
