Hello guys.

Does any one know if it's possible to run DOS in 132 columns X 90 lines?

I am able to run it in 80 columns X 50 lines. But haven't found any software flexible enough to go beyond that.

What's the maximum you guys were able to get?

Cheers,
Rita Graça.

My DOS machine: MS-DOS 6.22, Pentium MMX 200MHz, 64MB RAM, AWE64 Gold, 4GB HD, Philips 19" CRT, 3"1/2 Floppy, CDROM, Parallel ZIP, ThrustMaster FLCS+TQL+Elite.

Ok. I've found this utility SetLines 3.1:

http://home.claranet.de/xyzzy/setlines.htm

It claims it goes as high as 132x60!

I tried it on DosBox, but it seems like it doesn't work very well. Anyway, I should give it a try on a real DOS machine.

If anyone has a suggestion, don't be shy!

Cheers,
Rita Graça.

What software do you use? What's your hardware set up?

Good tip!

Thanks, jwt27.

Do you reckon it's possible to use FreeDos' MODE with MS-DOS\DR-DOS?

Rita Graça.

ykhwong's DOSBox /w Setlines works for me across a wide array of modes, though the 80x60 mode wigs out a bit (seems like it's swapping between two modes).
