Lately, I discover the terminal program inside windows 3.1 actually works for internet access. I use the same principle of lync and it works okay.
I wonder any good web browsers available (for win31) from the web that allows me to surf the internet just like the terminal and lync program without using a disk image. I don't need to use twinsock or anything like that.
Thanks
Jack

I wonder if Dosbox has a virtual modem, while I install virtual modem for windows 7
then install a so-called modem server on windows 7. Can I let dosbox access the internet indirectly?
Thanks
Jack

NO. There are no "good" web browsers available. The Internet has changed so much from the era of Windows 3.1 that any web browser that works on Windows 3.1 probably will not be able to display very many websites properly, if it works at all.

If you really wanted to, you could install this virtual modem on Windows 7, and then configure the serial port in DOSBox to use the COM port of the virtual modem. Having never used any kind of virtual modem for Windows 7, this is just speculation.
