Hi,
I think I have a directory issue that I just can''t figure out. I installed the APBA DOS Football game on dosbox. I'm able to load the game and all of the file contents show up when I check the directory and sub-directory in dosbox. My problem is that when I go to play a game with the path set for one of the sub-directories, the game does not read one of the files in the sub-directory and will not start. I should add that I'm working out of a windows 7 86 bit program, so I'm not sure that the problem may have to do with 16 bit compatibility with windows.
I'm thinking that the problem probably has to to do with how I am setting the sub-directory in the game path (i.e. c:\apba\fb\1969). The game goes to the c: prompt which states that "cannot locate teamdisk in C:\apba\fb\1969." To reiterate however, running a cd check under the c: prompt does locate the teamdisk file on that heading.
I'm looking for any suggestions for how I should be setting the game path once I load the game inside dosbox, or how anyone else who encountered a similar problem arrived at a solution. Thanks!
