Does anyone know if these can be run safely at 200mhz?

180 to 200? I'd wager 99% of the cips made would do that with no issues.

I thought as much. I just wondered why they labeled some 180 and others as 200.

so they could charge more for the 200 than the 180 is the most likely answer.

Why would you do that, then you better could buy an 200 mhz one.

OC your chip would draw more power then use a stock 200mhz one.

~ At least it can do black and white~

I ran my old 166 MMX at 200 back in the day with no problems so I say go for it. 233 or even 266 shouldn't be a problem either with good cooling.

Is yours a ceramic chip or the newer organic style? The newer organic, black with silver cap, chips overclock a little better then the older style ceramic chips.

Because I got a 180mhz one for $13. Have you seen the prices overdrives go for?

Same here, my 166mmx ran at 200mhz it's whole life so 180-> 200 vitually a given.
