I have an ISA IO controller. Its main chip is Goldstar Prime 2C. Its FCC ID is KJDKEN-IDEPLUSV4. I found a page on the net about it here (Peteweb.com), but the DOS/Windows 3.x driver link is dead. Does anyone have the DOS/Windows 3.x driver/software for this ISA IO controller card please? Thanks a lot.

Edit: You can see this controller card here, on Vogons. The image of it is in my second post, on that page.

Edit 2: Perhaps I don't need to find this DOS/Windows 3.x driver? I am using WFWG version 3.11. Perhaps this particular version of Windows 3 doesn't require a 3rd party driver? However, I would still like to mess about with the Goldstar Prime 2c software, just to see what it does.

Usually the default Multi-I/O controller cards do not require a specific driver.
I have also a Goldstar Prime 2 in one of my 386 system.

From within DOS it uses the BIOS, you can of course install a INT13h extender like maxblast, ontrack and so on for large drives...
Win 3.x brings already it's own driver for a default Multi-I/O controller.

To get a bit more info about the system use ctatbus to check what the HDD is capable of.
It tells you if the HDD supports LBA f.e.
The typical Multi-I/O controller support usually up to Multi-Word DMA 2 Mode.

The overall handling is very easy, resources are configured by jumpers. Since most of the I/O resources follow standards there is not much to do. The cards were delivered with default settings.

Thanks very much for your summary. 😀 ATM, I can't test my retro items, and so I am unable to run "ctatbus" to check what the HDD is capable of. However, I do have that utility, and I will run it when I have the chance to. Thanks.
