Hello,
I just bought a Roland SCC-1, and my 486 computer will not detect it. I go to Game, Sounds, etc. in the control panel on Windows 95, and the system will not detect it. I have also gone to the multimedia option under the control panel, and there are no devices available for playback. What could I be doing wrong? Is there a driver for the SCC-1?

I assume the card is not dead, because a Roland MT-32 will work with it.

Yes, you will need to install the driver in Windows 95. I believe it will work with the MPU-401 driver. Make sure you set the I/O address correctly; the default is 330h, but check the dip switch setting on the card.
