Hi,
Today I salvaged my aunt's old system which has a P3 600MHz and spiced it up a bit (added Network card, RAM, better video card and HD). However, I'm experiencing random black-outs in the system. I tried removing everything else from it, several RAM sticks and 3 different PSUs. No matter what I do, the results are always the same. Could it be due to the new card (Geforce2 MX 400) is AGP 4x and the mobo is only 2x? It even blacks-out in the BIOS setup (the system keeps on, but the picture goes away). I already tested this card in another system and it's fully working. The reasons I swapped cards are that I needed TV output and the other one ran games terribly (some S3 Savage). What could be wrong? If I plug the HDD led on the MSG led on the mobo, it keeps blinking when this happens.

Could be. Geforce2s aren't very happy with higher AGP voltages. I couldn't get a Geforce2 to work on AGP2X either.

I also have a Radeon 7000 PCI but I can't get it to boot on most systems. Only 1 out of 3 booted with it (tried on this PIII, P4T and P5AD2-E Premium - only worked on this).
