I'm using an original CD-ROM version of the game from 1995 and in the setup screen I can pick Sound Canvas, but when I run the game, nothing is ever sent to my SC-55 to play.

However, when I pick general midi in the setup, it then outputs and plays. This makes no sense because I imagine it sounds even better with my GS synth than it does in default GM audio. Or, at least I would think this is the case. Anyone have any ideas?
