Ultima 6 save problem

Hi guys , I am trying to play Ultima 6, Martian Dreams , Savage Empire on my Gp2x Wiz through Dosbox but it won't save properly, now doing a search I found that this fellow : Ultima 6 saving issue
found a solution but I don't understand exactly what he did is there anyone here who understands and could help me out?

Why did you start a new thread instead of just replying to the old one?

This is evidently a problem with the unofficial, unmaintained GP2X port rather than with DOSBox itself.

Duh, I guess I could have replied to the original topic..
Thanks for the info , Now I just have to figure out how to do this..
do I run it through a terminal or dosbox config or more likely write a script somewhere, I'm not the smartest guy for sure.

I know this is a problem with dosbox itself , im just trying to get any solution to run these games.

It's not a problem of Dosbox, it's a problem of the GP2X port of Dosbox. The last version of this port is over four years old...

They're shell commands, so they are entirely independent of DOSBox. If you need help executing shell commands, you should probably ask on a GP2X forum.
