I have a specific game, but I'm sure it's not the game it's what I'm doing. Because the game works on my windows computer (without voice though) but on dosbox turbo it gives me a cannot find CD error 999.pal resource and it asks me to load a CD rom.

on my computer I have my folders in C:\emulation\abandonware\(name of game "lsl7" as an example)lsl7

So I open up doxbox mount c c:\abandonware\lsl7 i "install" then I "lsl7" game loads up fine just without voice.

On my nexus 7 I have no way to tell for sure but I cannot cd.. back any further than the folder that has my \download\ folder where I keep all my roms in. when I hook the nexus 7 up to the computer it says Nexus 7 -> internal storage -> download

well when I run dosbox turbo on my tablet it says c is mounted to /sdcard/ so I'm guessing that is what the root directory is called. I just change directories to download\dosbox\lsl7 then type lsl7 but it cannot locate 999.pal. What's different on my tablet than on my computer?

lsl 7 is not abandonware. Buy the game and ask the author who sold you the dosbox turbo port for support. Don't use our free forum for that.
