Hi, i have run the dosbox v. 0.74 with option patch for files= parameter. but when i start the application it hangs at startup.

i run windows 7 64bit an vmware ESXi and DosBox. I have set all option have checked all parameters but the programm only hangs and dont work.

can anyone have a idee.
its a old 16bit dos programm with clipper options.

i need fast help..

Hi, very thanks for the info. it works with this option.

so i have the next question.
2 other things:

- the programm ist very slow at moment in win7 32bit it works very fast. i have set a lot of option to test but nothing helped.
- how is the behavior in the case of multiple dosbox access database files and there is something to consider / muliple mount networkshare at more workstations

As far as I remember network mounts are terrible slow. And if multiple dosboxes acces the database I sure hope thatthe database can handle that.
