I found out that you can update the BIOS on Voodoo cards, which supposedly gives better performance and VESA compatibilty. Anybody have some experience on this and can say if it's worth it?

Some do own highly tweaked and customized bios roms but I expect those to be mostly V5 5500 related such as tweaked memory timings ect.

I upgraded my Voodoo 5 5500 to the latest official BIOS 1.18 which you can get here

Didn't really make any difference to anything that I noticed but then I haven't tried to benchmark. System seems stable and runs fine.
