Hello, I have an old Digital PC 3000 with a pentium MMX processor, well I know you change the voltage and clock speed using jumpers but all I have been able to do so far, changing jumper positions is clear BIOS (oops), black screen the computer (fixed it) and some how decrease the CPU speed and have not been able to increase/bring it back to normal speed. It's original speed was 166mhz but now it's at 133, I read an article on tomshardware on how to do it, but I think it's brand specific, so is there a pdf of the jumper settings for my motherboard?

Is this the right manual?
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/legacysupport/digit … df/pbserman.pdf
The jumper settings for CPU multiplier are on page 5-33 (page 152 in PDF).

(A Pentium MMX 166 will often run at 200 MHz if you want to try that.)

Hmmm that seems to be for the 31x series, not 30x /: though I will look at it.

I killed my motherboard by upping the voltage too much >_< now it won't even boot past the "Digital" screen.

Now I feel bad...
I meant only an easy overclock by just changing the multiplier, if it doesn't work without upping the voltage it's not worth it IMHO.
Hopefully it's only the CPU that got killed. Somehow I doubt that the motherboard allows a setting that will kill itself. A replacement Pentium MMX should be available easily/cheaply.

I have 70 digital pc computers with pentium mmx on a pallet wrapped stack, but it's a shame to waist this one.
