recently bought a G3 beige minitower and installed OS 9.2.2 for basic 90's mac gaming but i've run into an audio issue and having little mac experence i'm not sure if its an easy fix or not.

as stated its a beige G3 with a sonnet G4 upgrade to 500mhz. i don't have many mac games so i cant test on a wide range but the games I have tried have a stuttering audio issue. the video runs fine but when i play for example full throttle or the dig i get terrible stuttering with the music and voice acting in the intro's. these same games run fine on my 5200CD. could i have an issue with the personality card. should i try replacing the CPU with one of the origional speed? something else simple i can do to correct this?
