Since my DOS machine is down for the moment due to a dead hard drive, I've been installing the DOS games I care about on my Win98 machine that happens to have a Live! in it. Pretty much everything runs fine on it, except for the DOS TIE Fighter cd-rom. X-Wing, and Dark Forces both pick up the MIDI on 330 just fine. Is it something about the specific version of imuse in TIE or am I doing something wrong? It'd be nice to not have to listen to just SB music with this game. The horrible MIDI on the Live! isn't much better, but it's somewhat of an ok stopgap until I get my DOS machine back up with the sweet sweet XR385 in it.
