Hey guys, i need a suggestion.
Ive bought this PC housing (will make it squeaky clean too) :

And i want to pack an 80486 system into it. Having in mind on getting only ISA components, so no PCI.
Can you suggest a big ass mother board with as many features as possible?
Doing it cause its cool 😀
And of course DOS.

I have my dual pentium pro in an IDENTICAL case. Its an okay case, but I'm holding out for something better.

isa-only 486 would probably be an easy build. I would assume that VLB would be acceptable.

You should make it a challenge and go 486 with E-ISA. Something like this: http://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/A/AS … ml#.UV86iZPvvZw That would take advantage of the size of the case.

well, i bought the case because it supports FULL-AT motherboards. Because eventually I will find a working one of these: http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/asus/P65UP8.htm

So thats the board this casing is designed for! Very cool!

Ive seen images of these, they have CPU card right? Damn that thing looks sick.
I wish there was such a board but of an older era. VLB and ISA.

I have a full size AT Micronics EISA/VLBus board here that I might be selling soon. Shipping likely won't be cheap though due to size.
