Hi, just downloaded the latest ver of VDMSound and got Gfleet working at a good speed and with full sound!

But, some of the fonts are garbled. I remember when this game was new I had the same problem when I got a new video card--- seems back then that certain video cards wouldn't work and QQP tech support told me something about VESA, I can't remember what. I think it had to do with something like UNI-VESA being or not being compatible, VESA 101 or something?

Any suggestions on a fix? Thanks in advance.

I have an ATI 9200 128mg card on Win XP Pro (all SP's) with AMD 3000 barton and 1GB of Corsair LL RAM.

You should try running NOLFB.COM before the game. NOLFB is a little application than fools some VESA programs in believing there are no Linear FrameBuffer VESA modes available, just the standard banked ones. In short, it forces VESA programs to use a more slower but compatible access mode.

P.S: Best way of doing this is creating a batch file (.BAT) with two lines; one for nolfb and the other one for the loader.
